Client Hospitality Ideas

As we enter 2020 many of you will be planning your year ahead and where to take new and existing clients. With so many options available it is difficult to know where to start. This is where GoSporting come in! We have highlighted some ideas, ranging in price, which are sure to impress your prospective clients.

The three events we will be focusing on are:

  • The Cheltenham Festival
  • The Masters
  • Monaco Grand Prix

Over the next year GoSporting provide hospitality for The Cheltenham Festival, The Grand National and Royal Ascot. For now, we will focus on Cheltenham Festival hospitality.

The Cheltenham Festival is always one of the highlights of the sporting weeks and therefore one of the hottest tickets in town. Cheltenham racecourse is buried in the foothills of the Cotswolds and is the home of National Hunt Racing. The entire season leads up to this week which is fondly known as ‘the greatest show on Turf’. It is the pinnacle of the Racing Hunt Season as the world’s greatest equine talent come to Prestbury Park to do battle to see who are the best hurdlers and chasers. The festival has thrown up legends including Sprinter Sacre, Kauto Star, Istabraq and the diminutive Tiger Roll. Who will write their name into legend in 2020? Our early fancy for Gold Cup glory is Willie Mullins’ Kemboy but the horse we are most excited to see is Faugheen the machine who we think may spring a shock!

What makes it so good?
Whether you’re a lover of horse racing or simply looking for a day out there’s something here for everyone. It’s impossible not to be excited by the atmosphere. When the tape goes up for the first race on that Tuesday you’ll hear that famous Cheltenham roar and a rush of adrenaline will hit you.

In 2019, “The Orchard” was added in the club enclosure. It offers a uniquely themed area hosting a range of luxury brands for racegoers to soak up whilst enjoying the four extraordinary days of racing. As well as this, you can enjoy the popular Glenfarclas Whisky bar as well as a DJ booth. Nyetimber keep the celebrations going with their finest English sparkling wine.

If music is more your scene then you’ll be pleased to hear there’s live music throughout the day and is available in a range of enclosures. Fine dining is also on the menu at the festival where you can set up base for the day, eat the finest food whilst looking out to the most picturesque racing course in the whole of Britain. Once you’re done with food you can then take in the Shopping Village which has over 70 bespoke and carefully selected stands and means you can spend your winnings on many a sought after item. The location itself – Cheltenham – is a famous Spa town and there’s a lot to do once racing has finished including.

Perhaps the highlight of the sporting calendar is the Masters at Augusta. If you get a ticket then you may feel like Charlie from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as these golden tickets are so hard to come by.

The Masters this year runs from April 6th and finishes on Sunday 12th. Last year saw arguably the greatest sporting comeback of all time when Tiger Woods did the impossible and won another coveted green jacket. You’d be brave to bet against him doing so again! Although Major winning machine Brooks Koepka may have something to say about that.

What makes it so good?

From the gorgeous setting in Augusta, Georgia, to the reverence for the sport of golf and its traditions, the Masters is a complete one off. A ban on mobile phones and a zero tolerance stance on any form of drunken behaviour, the Masters is truly a stand-alone example of an event whose priorities remain steadfast and wholesome. It is without doubt the greatest sporting event to attend. The course itself is majestic. When you enter its grounds all the stresses of our fast-paced modern world melt away. There is not an advertisement in sight. Every single detail thought of with the grass measured to perfection, each and every fallen leaf raked up and every fallen pine needle swept away.

It’s an event that is bound by traditions including the ceremonial first tee shot, the brilliant par 3 tournament, the champions dinner and that green jacket. All of that would be enough but when you then add in to the melting pot the world’s greatest golfers and the drama of the sport itself then it really is quite something. Sunday at Augusta is as good as sport gets and the famous Augusta roars make the perfect soundtrack. It’s the most prestigious event in sport and GoSporting can take you to the heart of the action.

Whilst the Masters is steadfast, wholesome and ad-free the same cannot be said for the Monaco Grand Prix. This doesn’t mean that this event is any less impressive or enjoyable though!

Ask any driver which race they want to win and they’ll all come back with the same answer; Monaco.

It was 1929 when the reverberations of the racing engines were first heard around the Principality, after cigarette mogul Antony Noghes decided to organise a race with his friends from the Automobile Club De Monaco. In 1950 it found it’s way onto the F1 calendar and since 1955 it has been an ever present.

The iconic circuit is a favourite amongst fans and drivers alike. Nelson Piquet once described driving around Monaco as “like riding a bicycle around your living room.” It’s the ultimate driving challenge where the skills of the driver are pushed to the absolute limit. One centimetre can make all the difference between a pole position and ending up in the wall.

What makes it so good?

It’s not every day you get a chance to holiday on the French Riviera whilst watching 20 motor cars pounding past local haunts at 200mph. It is a city circuit which runs on the tight and twisting streets of Monte Carlo The Monaco circuit is the shortest Grand Prix track while with the highest ratio of millionaires per metre in the entire world so it should come as no surprise that there’s a fair amount of oppulance on show from luxurious high-rises, the yacht-filled harbor, the mountains as a backdrop , the sun and the Mediterranean sea – it can feel like you are heaven’s waiting room.

One of the famous yacht parties in full swing

As part of our hospitality packages you could even walk the track after a hard days racing or perhaps enjoy a complimentary meal at one of the classy terrasse bars.

The racing itself is fascinating. Tight corners, no run off zones and 200mph speeds the circuit is entirely unique and makes for a great spectacle. Drivers must change gear a staggering 54 times per lap at Monaco: that means that the driver’s skills are put to the test.

Formula One is the ultimate hospitality experience because you and your client can enjoy rubbing shoulders with celebrities or you can watch the drama unfold from a grandstand, a VIP Hospitality suite or perhaps you’d prefer to watch from the harbour on board a luxury yacht? Whatever experience you want we can deliver. One thing is for certain, Monaco is one of the sporting events on the calendar and you’ll not want to miss out.

Hospitality available

We have eight different types of hospitality packages available for the Monaco Grand Prix. They all offer different views including views of the swimming pool, casino square, the famous hairpin and the harbour.

All the packages offer a variety of fine dining and/or buffet options depending on what you want. Some of the packages including access to yacht parties and even a party with the F1 stars themselves which also sees top DJs and artists performing. Our hospitality page runs through in more detail the type of things that are included for the different packages. This photo gallery should also whet your appetite.

If you’re wanting to impress a client, especially one that enjoys a party, then this is the venue for you.
