Creative Corporate Event Ideas

Go Sporting offer traditional corporate hospitality but are also renowned for our creative corporate event ideas.

Go Sporting have a number of events scheduled this year that are unique and offer you the chance to give prospective/existing clients a different type of experience.

The first of these is our Cheltenham Gold Cup Lunch at the renowned M Restaurant in Victoria where you can watch the best national hunt horses live whilst enjoying the very best food on offer in London.

The Greatest Show on Turf – watch Cheltenham racing the way it is meant to be watched.

M Restaurant in Victoria Street, won the Best Restaurant 2018 in the Blue Badge Awards. It has embraced both the purity of natural ingredients and culinary talent in the UK since 2015.

The kitchen is headed up by Chef Michael Reid who’s passion for gastronomy began at a young age and he began his professional career in 2001. He has gone on to train in two of London’s definitive fine dining restaurants, Le Gavroche and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, where his skills were honed under the tutelage of celebrated chefs Michel Roux Jr and Ramsay himself. In April 2007, Michael joined Martin at Gaucho and was Executive Chef for the entire Gaucho Group.

In September 2015, Michael opened the second M venue in Victoria Street and launched his first cookbook, ‘M – A 24 Hour Cookbook’ which was published worldwide by Bloomsbury Publishers. Michael writes his own food column in ‘City AM’ and has regularly featured in over the past year in ‘Great British Menu’, ‘Masterchef’ ‘Sunday Brunch’ and ‘The One Show’.

The event will see you enjoy a selection of welcome drinks on arrival before you settle down for an exquisite three-course meal. Whilst enjoying the fine food you can watch the racing unfold on the large screens and you’ll have access to an on-site tipster and a betting facility so you never have to leave your table!

Last year’s event

The racing itself centres around National Hunt’s blue ribbon event – the Gold Cup which sees the best three mile chasers compete for the ultimate prize. Willie Mullins broke his duck last year and will look to defend his title with last years winner Al Boum Photo and the young pretender Kemboy. Whilst Nicky Henderson, so often England’s leading trainer, will hope his charge Santini can do the business. We think a lively outsider could run well at a big price – Chris’s Dream – the Irish horse is still lightly raced and is currently priced at 33/1 and is sure to enjoy the test. Either way it promises to be a fascinating race and alongside the Gold Cup there are six other races to enjoy on what is a stellar card.

The event costs £115 plus VAT per person and you can receive more information on 0203 908 4660 or by emailing us.

Keeping to the racing theme takes us to a special event on Saturday the 22nd August – the Ministry of Sound Classical at Chelmsford City Racecourse.

Britain’s newest racing venue offers thrilling all-weather racing under the mesmerising light of its champagne fluted floodlights. Last year saw the inaugural Ministry of Sound Classical and is back by popular demand!

Relive the greatest dance anthems through a 50-piece orchestra and spectacular laser light show. Experience The Chemical Brothers, Faithless, Fatboy Slim, Moloko and many more’s biggest dance tracks reimagined with an awe-inspiring orchestral makeover. It was proven to be a hugely popular event last year and is even bigger this year with the racing prize money being upped to make it the Chelmsford City Racecourse’s most valuable race in the calendar, The Chelmsford City Cup, is worth a staggering £100,000 and the UK’s richest evening race and meeting.

Go Sporting have our own private marquee for the event and it’s the perfect way to end the Summer. A ticket to our private marquee includes a Three Course Luxury Summer Buffet as well as complimentary drinks. There’s also access to a Gin Bar and VIP parking plus a premium viewing ticket for the concert. There’s a resident tipster on hand to help pick you out the winners of the races and all this costs £1500 + VAT per person.

If Golf is more your thing then you may be interested in the Go Sporting Golf Classic on Friday 17th July. Can your company take home the Go Sporting Classic Trophy?

Only 1 mile from the Castle’s main entrance you will find the friendly and welcoming Golf Club. Set in the mature grounds of the Hever Castle Estate, Hever Castle Golf Club is a gem of a course.

It was in the 1920s that golf first featured on the estate when a private 9 hole course was built for Astor’s personal enjoyment in the grounds where today’s Championship Course lies north of the Hever lakes. Hever golf course proved a valuable tool for the Astor’s to entertain friends, family and for business.

The original course survived until the Second World War when it was sadly abandoned during the War effort. However, the present-day Championship Course was created in 1992 and the Princes 9 Hole Course opened in 1998.

The course is one of the best golf courses in Kent and has been built to the highest specification and are a great test of golf in Kent for experienced golfers and beginners alike.

Our Golf Day includes a welcome breakfast with teas and coffees on arrival and a welcome gift pack. Then the serious stuff begins! There will be an 18 hole team format golf tournament in which teams will compete for glory! We’ll make sure you’re nice and refreshed with various drink stations positioned on the course during play. Once the winning team is announced there will then be a three course meal complete with an after dinner special guest. The evening will finish with a live auction which goes to support the Willow Foundation.

The cost of this event is £175 plus VAT per person and team or individual entries are welcome.

These are just some of the events that make up the Go Sporting calendar for 2020! If anything takes your fancy then get in touch with us today.
